Wow, this is a poem of depth and creativity. The direct, punctuation-free style feels like the honest advice of a sage or prophet. We are the sum of what we speak, write, or express. "Before departure" to me means "before death." Poem asks us to be cognizant of the choices we make now.

Thank you for sharing your fifteen word poem. I wish you success in the contest with your fine entry.

Good job in creating this 15 word poem. I like your reference to Galatians 3:26 which tells us that we are all children of God. That should guide us in what we say and do.

The parameters on this one are NUTZ, however you managed to do it quite well and satisfied all requirements of the prompt. Well done.

The overall message is clear and completed within the verse.

Love your poem, you met the guidelines of 15 words and 71 characters. I do believe that we leave an imprint in this world with the words we choose to speak and write and hopefully we have been kind and creative with our words and writings before we depart.

Excellent post ALD. Of course the ideal to strive for is for thoughts, words and deeds to all be in sync, then people could not lie and neither would they make flubs and then have to deny they said, or did something when they most definitely did so.

An excellent acrostic and many thanks for sharing.

Thank you for selecting the intriguing picture to accompany your verse. I admired your reminder in this short, acrostic-like poem, without punctuation to interrupt its flow. Best wishes in the contest- Joan

I agree that mostly we express what's inside us, so whatever we say or write is a revealing of what we think and feel. So, whoever we are, that's what comes out when we express ourselves. Good luck in the contest.

I agree with what you have written, Alcreator. We are, indeed, whatever we do in life. Very perceptive,

Good luck in the contest!

A very well-written fifteen word poem about whatever we think.about comes from our mouths one or other time revealing what we think about and tells everyone who we really are.
