These are just two of the strong verbs you are using in this poetry, Judy. As you know, Verbs are King. They propel a story or poem full speed ahead with meaning. Rustle is another.

So, five lines per stanza instead of four...looks like you did a fine job of writing a style II florette. And for sheer tranquility, the deep woods are really hard to beat.

This is just so mesmerizing. I love all the softly rhymed words, exquisite. Aside from the content being so lovely in itself, the picture too, is perfect. I think this is the best poem I've read this week.
