An interesting poem. One does not think of animals as having relatives. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. There is good imagery.

Cheers, Contestant;
> I thought it was peculiar but kind of funny and I had a good chuckle out of it.
> A very good resourceful theme that lends itself to a kind of a sarcastic reference with a little bit of humility.
> Good luck in the contest and take care and have a good one.

Wow, this is an amazing Poetry Telling a Joke poem. You creatively included all eight words. I like the thick Scottish accent combined with the Eastern "Namaste." "Bhya" and "Vyha" are also fun. Poem has the nonsensical quality of Lewis Carroll or Dr Seuss. Danial also reminds me of King Solomon. I love this odd, original poem with its "methinks" and "thither."

Thank you for sharing and for entertaining. I wish you contest success with your amusing entry.

Ha, good one AC. It reminds me of that movie Men Who Talk to Goats, but if you were to ask me why all I could tell you is goats. lol.

Lots of kids, nanny's and old goats.

Best of luck to you in the contest. This was a tough one.

You had a lot of strange requirements to work into this poem. I am not so sure I get the joke. It left me a bit confused even after reading it several times. I think for it to work better it could be more clear about why Daniel worries. I liked the unique names of the goats and the "7th legal wife" line.

Wow! I think you accomplished the task in smaller fashion.
I'm impressed with your poem telling a joke and the task of using specific words.

Well done.

This poem, Call Father a Father, put together with the ridiculous necessity of seventy-six words, thirteen lines, and eight specific words, all equaling a joke, has done everything required. Funny?

Dear Mystery Writer,

Neither this piece, nor this contest, make a lick of sense to me -- sorry. *smile* Perhaps it will to many, many others. I sure hope so, otherwise you will be the only entry in this one. Good luck!

This was a fun "challenge" for a poetry contest..you certainly hit your 'markers' --. although I was left a little confused by the verbiage, it was a comical and very unique poem..
