I'm sure this was just as entertaining in the contest last year as it is now -- what an original topic for a contest: a goat that wants a name - delightfully odd and entertaining as heck! Thanx for sharing! ;)

This is a really fun poem. I think Daniel went about it the right way, getting parliament to pass a law. Goat image fits your poem perfectly. Good luck in the contest. Marilyn

I will say I got a good laugh Alcreator Litt Dear
about your humor about getting ones goat what made me laugh is when they ask the They ask professor a long question, why none calls them father or mother and their family has a tradition of nameless relation.

You did an excellent job on what I consider a very hard prompt. This actually makes some sense and is quite funny! I had to great it a couple of times though. I like challenging poetry contests like this but rarely enter them, it's just too hard for me. Thanks for sharing and best of luck to you.

I like this poem but I'm afraid I don't get the joke, help!! Who is Daniel and why is he worried at the end? Lol, I guess I'd be worried if a bunch of goats came and asked me a long question. Good luck in the contest, I cannot imagine trying to tell a joke in poetic form!

This had to be very difficult to come up with this poem that uses the required words to make it A joke. You did well at accomplishing this task, I wish you good luck in the contest

Good job, Mystery Author, with your contest entry. You handled a difficult prompt well. Your presentation is nice--the font, the bold words, the picture. I'm not sure I understand all of the joke, though. But, I believe everyone wants to be proud of their name. Best wishes. Jan

Excellent, creative, NOT sure how you did it with what was given. You certainly know how to think outside the box. Thank you for the author notes. I learned something and that is great when the writer educates. I think you have a great chance of winning this!

Looks like Daniel got what he wanted. He tended to the sheep in this poem. I think I understood it. It looks clear what Daniel did in this poem. Excellent work!
