This is a wonderful uses of alliteration with the letters of and ABC poem. This seems to tell of the surprise of inventions or imagination.

On another note and I hope you do not take offense because I am not in "the group", but I wanted to say that you have been in my thoughts and prayers since I read the post announcing to folks that you were in the hospital. I love your use of alliteration, together with the subject matter and abstract photo, all adds to make it quite a trippy, surreal experience reading your poem- in a good way that is! I love this presentation! The artwork is amazing. Where did you find it? I do love the richness of plenty of alliteration, along with the "paradoxical mind-play." I am going to bookcase this piece for further study. You have said quite a lot, and it's hard to wrap my head around all the meaningful concepts you inspire. Reading your response is like a long cool drink of refreshing clean water. I needed your enthusiasm right now. I am so glad I brought a smile to start your week off right. I am smiling as I write this. You sound alive with ideas, and I admit, I'm a little jealous because I haven't been able to write anything, I'm proud of, since July 20th of this year! Just before I clicked on you, I was fussing and fretting about, not feeling creative enough to soothe myself. Your friendly banter is just what the doctor ordered for me. I will seek out those cool shady spots, ( it's rather warm in my apartment) and get out as much as I can into the open air, where I feel the wind rushing past my ears, and the sun soothing my disposition. I wish this, and more, for you this coming week.

Hey! Glad to offer some enthusiasm while I got it...sometimes when it comes to my students' parents during the week? We-e-e-ell, not so much, my friend! :) :) And I know what happened on July 20th -- you simply forgot to celebrate the anniversary of the moon landing! I mean, come on, who doesn't want to put on some big white puffy suit and boots and dance in the moonlight?!!! :) ;) Wait, what? You mean you didn't? What were you thinking?!! No wonder you haven't been able to right much, you need to do something crazy and sit and mentally record people's (and animals'!) reactions...then you'll be ready to write volumes again! :) And if dancing in the moonlight is not your thing, simply take some time to sit in the park or at the mall (do they even have those anymore? I'm probably showing my age here!) or at a movie theater and just sit somewhere inconspicuously and watch people...especially the old people and the teenagers...inspiration will not be a problem. Okay, now you might have trouble forgetting some things about what your poor eyes just observed, but your brain will have been jostled!! :) ;) So, yeah, get out and get some fresh air...even the pigeons and the finches and sparrows can be fun...get a birdfeeder to invite them over any time they like -- now there's entertainment without going anywhere!! They can be hilarious! :) ;) So, I hope you're not drooling from boredom reading this, but I wanted you to know that I was thankful for your sharing and love to hear it any time!! :) ;) Have a wonderful week of observations!! :) ;) :) Take good care! Thank you, Yvette, for your encouragement. I really appreciate your sincere interest in my writing woes. The trouble is not inspiration, I've got plenty of things which inspire me, I've just lost my creative edge as of late, and it really worries me. When I write, they just seem like words on a page, with no poetic sense to them. It feels good to be able to share this with you. My mood has lightened since I wrote to you about this before. I will keep observing, and maybe something will transpire, with my written words.

A clever write and I love paradoxes. On the Amazon river there is a separation of water that flow independently, yet side by side, it is a strang phenomena that your poem reminded me of. The reason is the speed and temeprature of the two waters, no one can predict these strange occurrences, love Dolly x

Yvette, another winner. I like this since we are all creatures of both light and dark. Many people think you need to find a balance on this spectrum. That may be true, but occasionally we all need to draw outside the lines! Have a great week end. Hugh

And you are talking to someone who wrote part of the instruction book for 'How to Draw Outside the Lines' -- notice the title doesn't guarantee success, but I never quit trying (and I'm too old to change now!)! :) :) And, of course, as the Crazy Math Lady, I'm always fascinated by topics such as paradoxes, duality, chaos, and more so, once in a while, it seeps into the writing...or takes over as was probably more of the case here! LOL! :) :)
Oh, and so far as your question is concerned, I'm just going by what they wrote there in that the first four lines must be 'started' in alphabetical order and then the fifth is just a random choice. Being no poetry expert, I kinda tend to just go on what they print there -- I've seen others that have put that random line first, but, with my luck, I'd get 'kicked back'! LOL! :) ;)
