A very well-written poem and an ecxcellent interpretation of the picture this challenge. The outer body experience was not a permanent event and it was only until the nurses bring everything back to normal.

Hi Trish. Your poem for this post of Picture This is super. Not only in content, but also in layout. The graduated line lengths of your poem as well as word choices are very good. Supposedly, people near death float above and observe what is going on below them. Marilyn

I have a cousin who claims she can do this at will - step outside her body. Hmmm.
Good description of what this might be like. I hope she got back in her body in time.

This speaks about muddled mind, that how you felt having a 'out of body' experience as if you were in a hospital for treatment but the dreamy state vanished and you came into normal; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR

You are very kind! I was thinking of psychosis in mental illness when I wrote this- not a usual thought for out of body experience!

Bucket I have her of the outer body experience and I think I have someone experienced it because it's like you are floating above yourself looking at people that are coming to your bedside but you're not able to speak at least they can't hear you speak but in your mind you are saying can't you hear me thanks for sharing that brings back a memory
