Well written. Your poem is poignant and sad for sure. I am wondering what that silent pain is about. Or, does it not matter as it is up to us to interpret your poem as how it relates to ourselves as well as the author?

Anyone who's known pain or sorrow of any kind will sympathize with the Speaker in this poem. Good description of that ceaseless pain in stanza one. And it's easy to understand why others do not feel it, too, if they are indifferent or apathetic. May I suggest a way to make this sound even more PERSONAL or Immediate? Change your point of view to first person. "No one knows the hurt (omit "that") I feel." "Upon deaf ears MY words do fall." Rod
