Hi there, I read it a few times and still I'm not the wiser. I like your words and the alliteration to be found within. But to be honest, I'm not quite sure what you want to say. To me it seems you're saying the same thing over and over just using different words. Please enlighten me. All the best. Ulla:))

Poetry is a magical expression of ideas (and wisdom) distilled into a concentrated meaning that not all can appreciate. This is a lovely poem, carefully formatted and expressed. Well done! Ann Marie

Thank you for the author notes. I always feel I learn something through reading them. This is very nicely done with a great quote and visual to match. Good luck in the contest and Great job! I can add nothing to improve on this. I love punctuation free poetry!

My goodness, there is some close definitition here, short of telling you what words to write it doesn't leave much room for individuality. Your word count is correct, and you also have a fair amount of rhyme in there. Should there be an apostrope after the 's' in bards in line 3 as well as in line 8?

I really appreciated this piece; poetry and story telling truly does capture and distill the wisdom that we acquire living in our day to day lives. Thank you!

That is so true! What an excellent contest entry, mystery writer. Of course poets are superior, their insight and wisdom is second to none!! LOL. I must tell my monthly writers group this! Well done, and good luck in the contest! :) Sandra x

Good one! Thanks for sharing the vocabulary behind the poem. Different rhyming scheme observed and I really liked it. Also, its nice to see the poet speak about wisdom spread by different bards be it writing or evaluating or solving the riddle of whatever wisdom has been shared. All the best!

Hi anon, very well done! Well worded and within the rules of the contest. Not easy to achieve and put over a good message under these conditions, but you have done so. Good luck in the contest. Warm regards Dorothy
ps Line 2 - drop the 's' - words reveal(s)

At first glance the rules of the contest made no sense to me - but your poem did! And it flowed nicely without feeling contrived. Wise words well written. Should do well in the contest.

Wisdom is Avery difficult thing to either write about or analyse, as wisdom refers to what one knows, and as we differ in capacity, so will we differ in the understanding of another's wisdom.
Still, liked what is written here.
Nicely done.
My very best wishes.
