I like the photo you choose to go with your poem, they are a perfect match. you captured my attention from the first line to the last I found your poem to be a interesting read if i wasn't afraid of drowning i would take the next trip with you.

What a happy poem. My spirits were truly lifted while reading this. It took my mind away from the dreary world currently outside my window and let me fantasize a bit! I'd give you a six if I still had one!

Thank you, that's very kind. I actually had the chance to ride down the Mississippi River 2 years ago, though not on a raft..lol. Thanks again for taking time to read my poem. Happy new year!

For an adventuring boy like Tom Sawyer or Huck Finn, sailing a raft, especially as one that is as well made as this one in the artwork would be a pleasure, especially with the help of a small outboard motor. Beautifully writte free verse my friend, good luck, blessings Roy

I really do think you have met this challenge superbly. The set words are all there and there is a great little adventure told in these lines. Very well done indeed. Definitely worth a six star grading.

Thank you so much. We just went on a visit to St. Paul mn and took a boat trip down the Mississippi. It was incredible and probably my inspiration. Thanks sgain.
