Nothing to correct, Sandra. For a title, maybe, That Time Again? Maybe something better will suggest itself as we read more of this intriguing story. Great job. :) Nancy

Thank you so very much, Nancy, for the lovely 6 stars! I'm so pleased you liked it. The plot will become clearer later, lots building up to what Veronica and Mildred will have to sort out. This will be her hardest assignment. Big hugs, dear friend. :) Sandra xxx

That title will be worth holding on to. I'll put it with mine and anyone else's who might have a suggestion. Thank you for that! :)) xx

OH I have missed reading your stories! Welcome back. I'm thrilled to read your work again!

The photo on this chapter is really neat. It held my attention for awhile before I read. :))

I really like that Mildred is 'back'. It's fun to see the two of them together in this adventure.

Lovely writing. I didn't catch any errors. Excited to read more.

Aw, bless your heart, Rebecca, thank you so much for the lovely 6 stars and fantastic review It's reviewers like you who fire my imagination up to write better. I've really missed you, too. Thank you! I'm glad you liked the picture, it's the backdrop for all the books, I decided to put that up as it's so hard sometimes to find a good picture for each part. I wish I knew how to put a the number of each chapter on it as I post them. That would be cool!! LOL. Big hugs, my dear friend. :) Sandra xxxx

You're welcome. I know, finding art anymore for your chapters is hard. I really like yours. If I could find a good one I'd use it for all my chapters too. When you click on your "latest post"under the heading "My" at the top of the FS site you will see a button to 'add chapter'. Click that to add to this story and at the very top you can post the # on your chapter. Hope that helps.

Hi Sandra, What a great chapter taking us right into the heart of the suffragettes. But I smell trouble. Patricia's husband is not happy. The establishment at the time, consisting of males only, felt threatened by this new development. I'll have a thought about a title. I like yours, though. I love this story. What will happen now? A big hug. Ulla xxx

Thank you so much for the lovely 6 stars, my friend!!! Yes, Gladys's husband is a right bully, and hates the very idea of women getting the vote. You will learn more about him in the next part. :)) Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Hi Sandra,

You are a novelist on fire. You're churning these books out quickly. I'm being pokey about the one I'm working on now. I better pull up my socks. You are an inspiration.

I love this story, and am thrilled to see you working on book number three of the series. I like your choice of title, and can't wait to see how you explain it all.

- "all facing the large, unlit (fire-place)" - my Oxford dictionary shows it as, "fireplace" - one word with no hyphen.

Looking forward to reading more of your brilliant story :)

Joy xx

I think you need to include something about welcome in your title. As time passes you then could possibly add dates that adds mystery into time how invisible it passes everyone likes to feel welcome or possibly NOT?
YOU DECIDE KEEP A LITTLE MORE MYSTERY DON'T TELL ALL YOU KNOW
DO YOU KNOW HOW TO KEEP A SECRET? SO DO I LOL. GOD BLESS YOU! DJT

So Mr. Gladys doesn't want his wife being with the suffragetes. Too bad. I think she's determined, as are all those other women. Good protest scene. They were much calmer then than protestors are now.

Her giggle made Mildred and I laugh. <-- made Mildred and ME laugh. To know when to use I or me, remove the other person: Her giggle made I laugh? OR Her giggle made ME laugh? Now you know the right choice is ME.

OMG! I can't believe I walked into that trap of the 'me and I' thing. I've made the correction, thank you so much for pointing it out. I'm a total idiot at times!! No, Mr Gladys is a staunch, 'women have their place in the world' but it's not where the suffragettes think it should be. There are still men around now who think like him! Thank you so very much for the shiny 6 stars, my friend. Big hugs winging their way over the pond!! :)) Sandra xxx

What a fascinating time that must have been, meeting a sufagettee cum lady, is a bit of an experience for Mildred and Veronoca, and after the protest Mildred and Veronica have been invited back to Gladys' house for refresments, well done Sandra, exciting episode, blessings, Roy

Another great chapter. Well written and no errors that I could see. I'm looking forward to seeing why the ladies were taken back in time and who they are meant to help. Well done as always. Rox

Well you chose and excellent time in history to continue your time travel. I have no clue how women's suffrage happened in the UK, just in the US. I know I'm in for a treat.

she moved over to stand next to me. (beside me)

to the woman knelt down tying her boot laces, (knelt indicated down, so down isn't needed)

Thank you so very much for the lovely 6 stars, my friend, and for your very helpful comments. I will sort those out directly! The suffragettes in the different countries all do well to get us the vote. Some countries are still biased against women. Australian women won the vote in the 1880s,1886, I think, they were far more tolerant to women. Big hugs, dear friend. :) Sandra xx

A nice continuation here, once again. this should prove intriguing with the situation as a backdrop I guess for this tale.

'I just hope it holds awhile longer. Right then, let's go and make a nuisance of ourselves,' - full stop rather than a comma before the closing speech marks.

Two sofa's, and five easy chairs were placed around - sofas is just a plural here so no apostrophe needed.

all facing the large, unlit fire-place. - fireplace could be a single word here.
