I think I understand. You're saying that people with pent-up anger are quick to be offended, as if they are looking for a fight. It's true people are too easily offended these days, possibly because they're aping the people they see on these stupid "reality" shows. Just a thought.

Yes. We live in a world of 'political correctness to the nth power.' It does seem that there isn't much you can say without offending someone.

I do know, there are days I'm easily offended, too. Maybe the world is just too hostile for most of us,

Wonderful write, ma'am -- can we get that first stanza blown up and posted on the girls' and boys' locker room walls...? :) :) Everybody's so ready to convict others on social media that they forget that it will always come back around....it is a terribly vicious cycle.. :( ;(

So very true! We do need to be prepared to forgive as the Lord has taught us. What surprises me more is how people say such offensive things and share private thoughts for all the world to react to and hence more fireworks go off.
