I like learning your new vocabulary. Desulture is a new one for me. I love that your poem ended up becoming an allegory and it works to address the political climate as well as the basic level of vaulting horses. Well-done!

Thanks for teaching me yet another word. I think I've only ever seen "desulture" when watching TV westerns. As in the artwork here, it looks like "desulture" is mainly used to rescue fair maidens.

I have vaulted from horses on more than one occasion, Connie, but never intentionally :) I'm too old for that now, or the ground has got too hard, one or the other. I couldn't find a western image, that would have been more apt than the circus one, I think. Many thanks for your always lovely reviews :) Craig
