This is a beautiful, simple poem with great wisdom woven in, the kind that can only be written by someone with life experience. This is good advice for anyone, especially young people. Great poem!

Very cute one, Patricia! And I like the comparison of taking life an inch at a time instead of a yard at a time. But sometimes, even taking life a day at a time, it's still hard. Great little reminder of what Jesus taught that today's trouble is enough.

Clever take on living one day at a time. I liked the sun shiney yellow which coordinated with your photo and your words. Good rhyme. Reminds me of old adages that people repeat for generations. Thank you for sharing your work.

Cute, nicely done on the rhyme and meter. And so true live one day ay a time and take it as it comes. Looking to far ahead is just added stress. Thanks for sharing this and have a great day.

Wise words. Like everyone I want instant gratification. I see small progress in my physical therapy, but get frustrated easily. I need to take it slow and be greatful for small improvements. Your poem reminded me to just take one minute at a time.

I enjoyed your poem, Patricia. Your presentation is great--the color scheme, the internal rhyme, the picture, & the smooth flow of lines. But it is your message that is strong. Yes, we all need to take it one day at a time & not jump off into the unknown. We'll get to where we need to be with careful actions. Good job & thanks for sharing. Jan

I'm glad to see the humor in this. Your rhymes are great fun. I don't know about it being that easy to create a rhyme, though. Good advice about taking one day at a time. About the time you think life's turning out to be a cinch, that's usually when something goes wrong. Great work! judi
