I think this is an excellent six-word poem, Craig. It asks such a thought-provoking question... but in a way that leaves the reader unsure which answer the author might choose. I know this was your intent and it is very cleverly done. My only complaint is the large and colorful first word... presented as it is, it seems like a title and not part of the poem, when of course, it is the primary word in the poem. No doubt that is why it is large and colorful. Well... I think you know what is best, but do consider presenting it in a way that is more symbiotic. ;")

It is a great poem actually. I'm just cranky I guess. But always honest, much like CD.

Your observation is spot on, MM. On your advice, I changed humanity to bring it in line with the rest of my creation ;-)

    Why cranky?

    Cheers,

Only too tired, I imagine. Tomorrow I will be fine. Thank you for considering a cranky reviewer's suggestion. I guess you're never cranky. LOL ;p

Hi Craig. This is a great entry for the contest. I think we are nature's Parasites. It would be best if nature invents a plague that kills most of us except for the poor. Those who would not know how to use WMDs. Good luck in the contest. Thank you for sharing

Now that's quite a bit deeper than some of the six word 'poems' that have been appearing recently! A pithy little summary that could well be up there among the leaders.

Clever and very thought provoking, Craig. I can't believe how much you managed to cram into a mere six words. Bravo!

From one end of the spectrum to the other ... pinnacle to parasite ... which are we? I'd say we're both. We'd like to think that we're the "pinnacle of creation", but truth be told, we are a "parasite to nature". Man continually places himself higher than anything else. It will likely be our eventual demise.

Lovely presentation with great impact. Best wishes for the contest with this great entry!

Cheers,
Connie

Ouch, that stings with truth. An excellent use of six words to create a lasting reaction. I really thought it must have more than six words and counted them. Ha! Well done.

I'm most relieved, Dawnya. I think not having six words could be a real hindrance to doing well in the contest lol

    Much appreciated, Craig

This is a great presentation, Craig. Your 6 words, as required, are thought-provoking & at the same time a little scary as to the answer. Your color scheme works well as does your chosen picture & formatting of the lines with different colors & size. I believe humankind believes there is nothing better than it & everything else takes a back set. Good job & best wishes. Jan
