So now they've hired Patricia to kill Shana. Good plan, but she's high on drugs and not thinking clearly. Shana can use that to stop her. I don't think Pat wants to kill her anyway. Most women are not murderers at heart. I wonder how Shana will get out of this.

Enjoyed the post. Really liked the situation Shana must face with Patricia. The angst and and tension she feels is palpable. Initially one comes a way fro the post with Patricia being a real b----- only to realize at the end her mind is plagued with the idea she's being watched. Well done.

Enjoy story. A very strong character (Patricia). You dialogue is written so well, very blunt and to the point. The words flowed nicely throughout the chapter. looking forward to your next.

It's understandable you're busy with school stuff. Thanks for keeping us posted.
As usual, this is well paced with fine characterization and dialog as well as sentence mechanics. Draws the reader right in. Holds attention easily. Excellent deep POV with internal dialog. The closing twist is awesome with tension and suspense. What a situation. I admire how calm and cool Shana is in front of the pistol!

Oh no, Shana could be in trouble with Patricia. But I'm comforted by the thought that since she's the heroine, she'll come out of the situation intact. I like how you not only brought Patricia in but how you surprised the reader with her suddenly pulling out a gun and saying she's hired to kill Shana. It sounded very convincing after we know there are people after killing Shana.

I guess this story has gone on too long, because people have forgotten about Patricia and her meeting with Drew at the penthouse. Drew left with $30,000 a month alimony and $25,000 month child support. She's doing okay, I would say. Thank you for the kind review. I have no clue how or why that comma is there, myself. I am wondering about gremlins. LOL
