I never got a chance to read this during the competition, but I can easily see why it won. Funny story and may even happen sometimes.

It did happen. My vet told me the story. The dog lived just down the street. Thank you for reviewing, Bill. I appreciate it.

It is a dribble alright. The dog was a drop off at the vet's I suppose and the owner will get him later.
Your poem is nice and funny to me.
Good luck with it.

No, the dog lived right down the street from the vet. He went alone, and the staff called his owner to tell him HE was late for the appointment. lol. True story.
That's for a great review.

Lovely story, damommy. It says a lot in just 50 words. It forms a complete idea, fully rounded to the very end. Congratulations on the win. I'm very pleased for you.

This is a very cute story :) It reminds me of that dog that used to take the bus to the park on his own. So funny. A dog going to the vet on its own is too funny. I just watched a video on facebook that showed dogs that didn't want to go to the vet. They were hilarious.
Congratulations on winning this contest. Well done and well deserved.

Thank you, Joy. I appreciate this. Fortunately, the dog lived just down the street. My cats like going to the vet. He's so kind and sweet to them. One time, we were waiting for him. Finally, my cat got down and slipped out the door and immediately went to his office to find him He came back laughing., carrying her in his arms.. I've been going there 25 years and I've never been to his office. HAHAHAHA

Thank you, Linda. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I'm doing better after having my shoulder completely replaced. Still have a long way to go to get full mobility back, but I'm getting there. Thanks for asking.

-It begins well, as it
makes me wonder about

Thank you, Pam. This little dog wasn't going to wait for his master. He didn't want to be late. lol

You are welcome. I guess he was just a punctual pup!

Hello Yvonne,
A fun story for the Dribble contest.
That's one smart dog, but my experience is that dogs don't like
veterinarians very much. They usually run and hide. lol
Good twist at the end.
Well done
Good luck in the contest, my friend.

All his patients love Dr. Foster. I'm not surprised this little dog was anxious to get there. My cat tries to follow him in the office. Thank you for reviewing.
