Hi dovemarie. There is fall foliage in New England already? Here it is still blazing hot. Foliage does not change here until it cools off more. Also the spring blossoms won't come as long as the weather is cold. Fall is my favorite season. Heat of summer is not my thing. Good luck in the contest. Thank you for sharing

Dear Pamusart, Thank you for your comments and rating. I'm getting a little ahead of myself, there is no fall foliage here as yet, but I'm anticipating it. I love it. Thank you for your good luck wishes. Dove

Autumnal hues and falling leaves remind us all that the summer is over and the season is changing, your words create a perfect picture of September and it may look much better if it was left alighned, just a suggestion Donna, love Dolly x

-Very nice artwork and presentation.
-A well written poem with vivid
imagery that creates a word
picture of autumn:
"Beautiful colors floating in the air"
-I also like the rhyme in the last two lines.
-Good luck in the contest, dovemarie.

Nice and bright poem. September is my favorite month, it's cooling down and the trees and flowers look so pretty. Good flow of words makes poem easy to read. Good luck in the contest.

Such an apt topic for a New Englander! Very nice imagery, perfect choice of artwork to supplement your poem. The days growing shorter, the twilight descending earlier. Fall is a beautiful time of year. You capture the "feeling" of September very well. Good job, and good luck with the contest!

A very well-written acrostic poem about September month when the seasons start changing slowly again in the Northern hemisphere it turns to autumn and winter and in the Southern hemisphere from winter to Spring and summer.
