Pat, this is a good "writing" on faith. However, it reads like a statement -- prose -- rather than a poem. It lacks the flow of a poem (choppy). Perhaps making a single stanza poem into numerous ones may help in reading it.

I'm afraid since I'm an amateur - at best - in poetry I can't really say much about this in terms of if the syllable count for each line is right. But it read well and it was enjoyable. Filled with truth and so honest! I love how you state over and over again in different ways that Jesus is our Protecter!
