Hmmm, he aims to please, huh? Perfectly written rispetto here, writer. My take is he feels he's worth the wait ... love the dark on light presentation with the writer behind a mask. He's vulnerable and passionate. Words and rhyme are smooth, not forced. The read is fluid. I find no errors in structure, format, or rhyme...good luck in the contest.

Well done a nicely written double rispetto, with the tetrametric quatrains and orthodox rhyming. I like the theme, tthe flow is good, the language poetic and rich with pathos, with a dramatic and strong last stanza, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy

What an interesting and imaginative idea for a romance poem. The photo is just riveting as is the writing. There is a buoyancy mingled with bittersweet reflection. Love this piece.
