I'm so loving this little double rispetto of yours! The theme is just wonderful, real and relatable! or maybe its those feelings that everyone has..that insecurity..but AHHHH but what. ..true love has to prevail! That no matter what, it is found and cherished. :-) ahhh serving up some romantic yumminess hey mikey :-)

Sadness, love, and passion are all creatively combined into a perfect Rispetto! This was an absolute pleasure to read. I started this poem feeling sadness but, like every good clown, you brought a smile to my face in the end. Very well written!

Those lovely words are more than enough, Ana. I'm so humbled and pleased that you enjoyed my poem so much. We always hope that once in a while we'll get something just right and it might reach someone who sees it exactly as we're trying to convey it. This place is so fast paced that it's rare someone takes the time you do to give good reads and time to other's work. It is so appreciated, you can't know how much it means to me and many others as well ... even though i and I'm sure many others are in too big a hurry and too inundated with life to take the proper amount of time to thank you. I voted for this and I see others did too. I think many a reader can identify with this examining their inner buffoon. Even in freshman year study hall, I got nothing accomplished as I daily gazed at someone who hardly knew I existed. Age plays many tricks. Now on fb I observe that time has not been so kind to them.

I'm a bit concerned that you don't quite follow iambic meter. The soft syllable followed by the hard, however, the count is masterful. Your use of words is superb and the story is wonderful.
the rhyme scheme is great, it doesn't feel forced, like you had to mix word orders or make non-sense to accomplish it. Very smooth and natural.

This is outstanding. And, it's a double. The words describe a surprisingly clear vision and send a message that is comprehensible. This poem should garner many votes in the Rispetto poetry contest. Very well done.

Sorry it was a difficult read. Sometimes the equipment makes a difference. If you're on a notebook perhaps it wouldn't show up as well as on a laptop. Anyway, I appreciate you trying. Thank you. :))
