I think this is a fantastic idea. I read it out of order. Go figure! I doubt it will be the last time I do it. I know your granddaughter will cherish these stories, especially when she's an adult.

Books written to a young loved one will always be written with love. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. Good job.

I love that you do stuff like this for her. I know someone who prints out the pictures of her grandkids. She's putting them away and when they get older she's going to give them the printed copies. No one has printed copies of pictures (except me, I do printed pictures), but how cool is that?!?! I love it.

the plan has been to get a scrapbook, print out the written work and add pictures I have taken of her to go with it - we'll see what happens - probably need to get to work on the first one, huh?

That would be cool and something she'd treasure

Very pleasant, clear in message and well written Biographical Non fiction work. It reads like a letter to a loved one, and it is. I like the affectionate, natural and simple words.

This is a wonderful idea, to write a book of reflections for your granddaughter. What a gift for her! My daughter was born in February of 2009, so she's the same age as your granddaughter. She has spina bifida, and I blog about our experiences with her disability, but I've always wanted to write a personal sort of book for her like this one you have in mind. I'll be following you and will take inspiration from you.

I can easily relate to what you are attempting to do here, Nanny, as I have compiled a collection of poems for my granddaughter to celebrate key events in her life. I especially like your closing sentence. I wish you luck.

This is a great prologue. I like that is is short & to the point yet shows your love for Lexi & the purpose of the book. Thanks for the author notes. Jan
