A very welll-written piece for the animal crackers club and a great conversation between the cats about the new comer in the neighborhood and their decision to accept her as she is.

This is a fun challenge in the animal crackers club, Teri. I like the dialogue with the kitties, If kitties could talk English, then this is what each would say. But they talk in their own language. The picture is great.

This new ca [ is ] our dad named Tom.

writes about us on Fan Story and every body hears about us on there. [everybody]

Thanks for sharing a fun little story. Jan

Hi Teri, a good piece of writing about a conversation between cats. Sounds fine - LOL, and why not - who is to say they do not communicate in their own way. I like your final paragraph - nice way to finish your story. -

Just because my name is Fluffy don't mean I am a bad cat or bossy. I was just born bossy. I guess our mother was bossy too. Its a girl thing, I think. And Sassy, we are all number one in here. Enough said because I think it's time to take a cat nap! See you guys later!" ...... A good club entry Teri and I enjoyed the feline story. Warm regards Dorothy xx

Hi Teri. Seems like a good entry for the club contest. We feed a cat here but we know he has a home. But some weekends they leave him and he comes here acting like he is starving. I do not let him in. My cat is indoor only and I can't be sure that the other cat has all of his shots. Nice story. Thank you for sharing

Here the verb should be singular because the subject is "one". "Comes up".

""Muffy, you always blame me when one of the new cats come up missing. That is not the case, you see. I am in the house all the time, just like you and Sassy are.""

I saw a couple of places that I questioned.
You say "good looking" and as far as I know that should have a hyphen, not a space. Also, "Tom cat" - isn't that one word?

A third thing: You say "one of the new cats" in the fourth paragraph, but you use the singular conjugation for the following verb: "to come". As far as I can tell, it should have an "s" and read as "comes up missing" because you are referring to the ONE new cat.

Another thing: You say "how would we be go to" in the sixth paragraph.

Hope this is helpful and doesn't make you "hate me". :-D

Congratulations on your new fellow in the family! Glad to see you back online, Teri.

The story is a cute, funny way of illustrating how each cat has a unique personality, a well-told slice of life vignette. I enjoyed it very much, and, as always, God bless you and your family!

Hello Teri
I noticed you said your cute and well written story about the new cat (Tom) is fiction?
It sounded to me true.
I had so much reading your Club entry for the "Animals Crackers" event in "Animal Cracker

Thanks so much Gert for the great review and very nice comments. I put it in fiction as them saying what I wrote could not have been true, could they? love, Teri

Teri, you don't live in Alabama, do you? Tom looks like a cat that I lost. He was the top cat in our house for sure. Then he got out.
I love your sense of humor ad your cats. This is a fun piece. Very well written.

Thanks so much Debbie for the great review and very nice comments. We live in Tennessee, but if you think he is yours let us know and we will figure out a way to get him home. We love him and take care of him the best we can. Somebody left him over here and I feel so sorry for him. love, Teri

Bless you for taking care of that cat. It can't be mine, but he does remind me of Monk, the best pet that I ever had.
