This is a lovely haiku, Kerry, and very well done.
Lines one and two show excellent concrete imagery and the use of alliteration felt natural, not forced, in your first line.
Your "kigo", or seasonal reference, could be late spring, summer, or even early autumn.
Your satori line is a brief summation--or "Ah-ha!"--moment and the overall presentation is lovely.

What a stunning photo! Wow! I like the peronsifcation in this. Excellent word economy and fine alliteraiton of E and consonance of F, L, M and N. Good tone and tenor. It's not easy tomake a haiku musical - and you achieved it! BRavo.
I enjoyed the creative satori line, especially.
Best of luck.
Warmly, rd

A very well-written haiku that describes the sunset perfectly and brings it closer to the reader. I love to watch the sunsets and enjoy the different hues that color the sky.

I love how every word is strong and paints a mind picture. Emanating, reflecting, fading, and exhaling. It's getting warm here in Portugal this week, so we have plenty of warm evenings. Great job.

Excellent. Sets an end of the day mood with excellent description. Good flow and connectivity with the use of fading, glow, exhale. I can imagine the morning version; screaming rising sun, etc. Great picture. Hugh

Good job, Kerry, with your haiku contest entry. Your words clearly paint a picture for readers. The picture is beautiful against the black background, too. Your syllable count is correct, the alliteration of 's' & 'e' are good. Your satori is a great aha moment. Best wishes Jan
