This is a lovely haiku, Kerry, and very well done.
Lines one and two show excellent concrete imagery and the use of alliteration felt natural, not forced, in your first line.
Your "kigo", or seasonal reference, could be late spring, summer, or even early autumn.
Your satori line is a brief summation--or "Ah-ha!"--moment and the overall presentation is lovely.

What a stunning photo! Wow! I like the peronsifcation in this. Excellent word economy and fine alliteraiton of E and consonance of F, L, M and N. Good tone and tenor. It's not easy tomake a haiku musical - and you achieved it! BRavo.
