Roxanna, like so much else you write, this is so cute!! You have a definite flair for humor and self-deprecation. I really enjoyed that you created a character, the down-and-out slob in every profession, who just can't catch a break. I've seen that type of character in prose before, but never in poetry, and your rhymes really brought him to life. I love the little twist at the end. It's always fun to see the underdog win.

Great picture with your poem. Not all people are able to stand out, in this day just having a job is good. If you want to stand out you need to do it on your own. You can not be good at something If You do not try your best.

Excellent poem! I think that this poem explains what a writer goes through when writing something like a story. It is not easy to do, but very hard. We writers write 24/7. I think that you did a very good job explaining what a writer goes through when they write. I think. Great job!
