Tony, I was captivated from the first line. Now, I'm anxious to see what's in the letter.

This is well written with such descriptions that carry the reader right along with the narrator. I could see that street scene as though I were there.

Looking forward to the next installment.

A very well-written interesting story of a part of your life where you met interesting people and what their Influence they had on your life. Readers like to read about things they can only dream about.

Being on fanstory has been, to say the least, an exercise in learning humility, writing in isolation tends to give one an unholy, inflated opinion of one's own writing abilities, for that, I heard him say, is that I am eternally grateful. But that doesn't detract from your skilled hand. (I didn't know you were a philatelist Tony. I love your work my friend, blessjngs, Roy
Typo : Languidly (proclaimiming) its message of (libery) proclaiming Liberty? (Libery), Equality and Fraternity. Liberty?

Very many thanks for your review, Roy. I'm not really a philatelist these days, but do still have a schoolboy stamp album hidden away somewhere! Thanks for picking up the typos. Appreciated. Best wishes, Tony

Cheers, Tony and Bravo!
>I was completely and immensely if not totally entertained by this writing as it took me through philosophies that involved adventure and mystery with a small hint of investigative prowress.
>This miniature innuendo describing the postman's double stamp that's hiding the rights of man was quite peculiar in the investigation.
>The time and date was influential in this fabricated investigation
that made the investigative detective able to unravel certain unmistakablle; however, miscued they were.
>I enjoyed the minusculed embellishment of the demonstratively descriptive imagery, as well as the definitively expressive fact that illuminated the environment and gave richness to the story.
>Yeah, many of books are collecting dust and still holding up uneven chairs and tables, And some are just looking good on the shelves just for show to impress others.
>These remarkable picturesque setting innuendos help determine the classic environment that is enriched in your story.
> Thanks for sharing this, Tony, and take care and always have a good on my friend, stimulating people like me.

A most interesting opening to an adventure that is sure to take us on a psychological thriller and emotional roller-coaster through the underbelly of France as experienced by uncovering secrets inside the heart and mind. At least that's how I interpret your opening, Tony.

One typo:

lying from the Grand Palace and languidly proclaimimng (proclaiming) its message of Libery, (Liberty)

I for one am encouraged to know you have a novel that needs exorcising. I shall be reading along.

Much enjoyed.

Gloria

It seems that everyone has a novel locked up inside and, in most cases, that is probably where it should stay. (I'm worried here. Should my novels stay locked up??)

I would say entering the life of another could be very dangerous. I can't wait to read more. You have surely increased my vocabulary as I read this post.

philately...is something we share in common. I finally gave my albums to my son though as I don't have time any more. But well do I remember the excitement of exotic Fiji and Samoa as that's how I traveled in those days...Tony please tell me this is the start of a novel?! Yay if it is
God bless

Tony I wrote a pitiful novel for nanowrimo...November write a novel month...and I got so stuck...my heroine was flying through the air for 2 weeks...wrecked havoc on her skin,,, Then I wrote the ending. That gave my writing a point to aim for and broke the writer's block.

Sounds like a stamp collectors heaven where on can gather old stamps into their collections and maybe finding a mystery or two along the way from their letters inside.

Many thanks for your review, CRW. Yes, it was a thriving market when I first came across it and buzzing with activity, but it seems to have fallen by the wayside a bit these days - or maybe we were just there on a quiet day.
