What a convoluted amalgam of kins and creatures. I hope that things will go well between Jace and Abbey.

How terrible for Steve, Tessa and Jem. This is true conflict where there is no way out - whatever the choice one makes will be just as bad and someone will get hurt. Brilliant!

But thank heavens your world is populated with beings who can somehow protect each other and bring the dead back to life. So in a way it's pretty utopian - you just need the right constellation of friends, family and foes!

Wow, what a chapter. It had a little bit of everything; action, suspense, love. You even included pending drama. I especially like how you described how they turned. It gives me great ideas on ways I can improve my book. (Mystic Creature was my failed attempt at shapeshifters.) After reading your story maybe I can get a better understanding, ways to improve the story.
Your story is very well written, suspenseful, interesting throughout. the action, dialogue, characters seem real.

I had a hard time at the beginning of my writing when I created my first two books with the shifting parts, and fight scenes. By reading other books that are similar and watching the Underworld saga's really gave me some ideas. It's there in your head, but putting it down in writing can be difficult. The more you write, the more you improve. Plus, I've had a lot of help here on FanStory with everyone giving me pointers.

You always manage to surprise Shana. There is an almighty battle between Abby's Adalwolf, and Jace's beast, with Gem coming to Jace's aid by killing Abby, however, Stephen is encouraged to heal her by two elvish visitors, and so all's well. They are made welcome by the covenant.
Meanwhile Valkin Steele has realised his hired kidnappers are not coming back, so he contacts Dominic Gambino to help him. Well done Shana, wonderful episode. Well done blessings, Roy
