I love to think and talk about the days of my youth when everything was simpler. There's a reason they call it the good old days. You chose a lovely picture to go with it and your words speak of truth and the wisdom to take each day as it comes.

I'm glad to know someone else does that. It seems I think a lot about the good old days. Thank you for this great review.

I loved it, found this poem so moving! I'm not sure of the reason, but I was close to tears, maybe because poignant memories come hand-in-hand with loss, and your rispetto was bittersweet for me.

I felt the same way writing it. It was sweet to remember but sad because those days are gone. Thank you, Dawn. I'm glad you liked it.

I think we all enjoy those moments friend... allowing our minds to drift back in time and recall those precious carefree memories of our youth. To remember and relive them can only but make one smile : )) Very nice!

It's always so pleasant remember 'the olden days.' Of course, now I have more past than I'll ever have present, so I spend a lot of time there. Thank you for reviewing.

This rispetto, I Remember, has the correct formatting and takes us all back to quiet summer eternities. The scenes like the fishing hole and a breezy porch swing stand beside the simple adventures that challenged us in the relative safety of youth. Just makes me cry.

It's so different now. Especially with everyone's head stuck in some electronic thingy. They miss so much. Thank you for a lovely review.

Lovely little poem. We all enjoy such memories, I think. I have memories like that, which is one reason I plan to write Encore, a novel about an old woman who goes back in time to live her life again. :)

This has a beautiful flow to it. I'm going to have to remember to try a rispetto. It helps you get through the aches and pains of old age when you have wonderful memories to call on. Those of the fishing hole and the front porch spring are lovely. Great work, and I hope you are well on the mend. judi

This is a very well written Rispetto poem you have penned for the Potlatch club entry. You used great descriptive words that made me think back to a different time and place in life too. Very good imagery and words. love, Teri

It is good to reminisce and remember pleasant memories of good times that you enjoyed in days gone by. I like the way you describe so beautifully the memories you're reminiscing about. I can remember as a lad going to the watering hole at the creek catching fish and crayfish. I enjoyed reading this Damommy! I'm glad to see you back! Well done!

Thank you, Jeffrey. It's good to be back. Recovery is slow and long, though. I appreciate your lovely remarks, and I'm happy it brought back memories for you.
