a lovely poem written about yesteryear, when things held a sweet and palatable innocence to them... "...The fishing hole, the front porch swing..." and "...Across the terrace, soft winds blow..." takes me back to a time of slow, leisurely days, when one wasn't barraged with cell phone, X-boxes, round-the-clock t.v., loud stereo rapping-tapping-blabbing and ear noise of traffic and horns blaring... but a quiet trip to the pond to fish, or going for a ride on my horse with just the fresh air, sunshine and my thoughts linger now in my mind, as it does in my heart.. when there was an art to peace, easy, free flowing days without rush or hurried schedules... ahhhh.... thanks for this lovely journey back and having me take that 'pause that refreshes.'

Thank you for this very lovely review. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's a different world now. We couldn't do all those things today without a cell phone going off. Times were so much quieter then.

Don't be afraid of strict meter. Once you start, they seem to write themselves. You must try it. Thank you for a great review.
