I had a lady on another site say she'll stop reading my stories if I kill Graany. I really think she means it too. I'm fond of her myself. That's why I didn't end the book a few chapters back like I originally planned.

I wonder if they're still going to have a worse ending than the one they would have, apprehended by the police, after Jackie and granny take off on a back road out their state, two men apprehend them. I don't think the police department and the cobs chasing Jackie and Granny don't realize how Granny is so clever and can out smart them
Now there is one place I don't understand what you are saying- when
Jackie sees that her building is surrounded by cops when she pulls herself off the floorboard. "What are we going to do?" she asks as she turns around.
does this section even belong (for some reason it doesn't fit?

Thank you so much for your fabulous six stars. This was supposed to be the end, but Granny is holding my brain hostage, saying I better write more or else. Knowing how she treats her victims I really don't want to know what her or else is. Lol. I'm kidding, of course, but I did come up with an idea for a couple more chapters, I'm having trouble saying goodbye.
You're right that does seem a bit awkward. Since she was hiding from the cops on the floorboard, I changed that to Jackie sees that her building is surrounded when she climbs back in her seat. Does that sound better? Thanks for catching that.
