Very good. "Array" is an excellent word to use in this context, as is "unfurl" - very descriptive of the flower's apparent action.

Isn't it amazing how such few words can convey a message of summer. Wouldn't it be a memory to be standing in this field of summer sunflowers. Reminds me of the
idea in Wordsworth's poem about The Daffodils. His last two lines...And then my heart with pleasure fills, and dances with the daffodils is my very favorite one.

This 2-6-2, Sunflowers, uses the ten syllables and this vivid picture image of sunflowers to lay out a yellow, thick road on which to travel to the Emerald Palace of summer. Nice.

Wow, what wonderful imagery this tiny poem evokes! Oddly enough, I featured a sunflower in a photograph I took only this afternoon, too, in the stifling heat we're experiencing in Toronto lately. There must be something about the flower that shouts summer! Your poem sure does! Great ambiance.
