Excellent commentary on greed, power, control and corruption... you nailed it girl! You were right on point -- and exemplified these ugly, morally debilitating character defects that taint human decency and defile innocence and purity of heart... Powerful poem!

Dear Pamusart,
This free verse speaks of a common truth which
you have presented in a most engaging manner.
The mataphors used are excellent.
'He controls the corporate erection.' Brilliant!
Best wishes, 'Deirdre Anne

I have known a few of these during my working days in offices! I liked your free-write and you are good at them, very expressive and poignant, love Dolly x

This is a clever piece of political free verse. The metaphor is most apt and the link between the politicians and captains of industry or if you prefer it, execitive rapists is well-established here.

Well Pam, well said, I couldn't have said it any better than that. Those are some powerful words that have been well put into context of the liar and reported RAPIST. Who seduces the POWER of the personal opinions of those that surrounds him. Good job Pam

A very well-written poem about people who have money and power think they have the right to abuse other people in any way and hush everybody from speaking out.

That's what I like about you, Pam. You don't mince words and boy have you ever hit the nail on this head with this hard hitting post. The lobbyists, bankers and mega-wealthy are about to become a whole lot wealthier, but I guess to some folks it feels good.

A fine free verse with all the vivid nouns and verbs in the right places.

Although it's a little hackneyed, but power corrupts, but absolute power corrupts absolutely, well done, the metaphorical phalus is a good descriptive analogy, well done Pam, an excellent poem in free verse form, well done, blessings, Roy

How true is that and unfortunately there are far too many of these people in the world, I believe they should be treated as criminals, very well said and written****kahpot
