Hello Pamusart, loved this, and one of the reasons was I like it so much is because the poems very distinctly from a woman's POV. I really liked that and it was really accurate. Love for most women is intricate and complicated, whereas for men the agenda is quite clear, LOL
In Australia, we have a writer called Henry Lawson. I love his stories, my parents gave it to me as a gift and it shows what it was like for women in Australia's British colonial history out in the harsh hot bush of inland Australia. 'Water them Geraniums' is one of my favorites. I's a rarity as most historical accounts are written by and for men, I'm not being ungrateful, I know why that is the case as historically women haven't had ass big a voice as they do now, although Jewish customs were always advanced and women could inherit property and be autonomous in their own right. They also knew what to do with their ablutions, and were going outside the camp and burying it. Right up until the quite late in British history people would throw their chamber pots out of the top story bedroom window, LOL, GAGAGAGAG
And it talks about the circle of the earth in psalms. long before we Europeans realized it was round.
So I really appreciated this poem, a very female dissection of love and all its involvements, and stages. And the ending is good, love through the years, and all the people said (all though it doesn't always play out like that in real life with the divorce rate through the roof!!!)
