Confidence to me is a strong force to be reckoned with especially in a woman because we have so many things to deal with and if we don't have a sense of confidence it becomes a struggle without it. In this poem this young lady's confidence reflects her Image as a strong woman, that persevered her way through a bad experience to one where she found love.

Great little story poem that shows how a bad relationship which wounded the main character here, kept her from other relationships until she found a true love that brought healing.

What a journey she had to make. But it was one that finally paid huge rewards:
Her confidence back, she felt really strong
Her smiles became bright before very long
Another man sought her hand for a dance
She's deeply in love; has found her romance
Now, taking their chances absent of fear,

I think one has to make a few mistakes on the way to finding true love, otherwise you just won't know what's out there. Isn't that what youth is for making mistakes before they can be really serious?

Probably Jim. I wanted to convey that she was being harassed. Maybe I did not do a good job of it. It was no small task for her to just eliminate him from her life. Or maybe I was. The woman that roared, eh? Thanks for the great review
