Cute anecdote, Sankey. It's lovely that your wife is a good sport and can pose for a nice picture. "Repaint and thin no more" is a clever admonition. I hope the guy worked it out with the paint thinner so it went on as it should. The minister's words were so funny. Well told! People would gather around to hear you tell this one. judi

Yeah not mine originally, mate but thanks for coming by. A bit behind reviewing you atm, sorry. Got the idea for Rambles from Sasha in Mexico.

Ha-Ha! Suppose this is what happens when the "preacher" does not know the capabilities of the person they hire to do the work. Interesting title.

Hi Sankey, great little piece, and it's good to see your wife busy with the paint brush. She seems to be doing a great job with not too much thinner. I liked your little story. All the best. Ulla:)))

Thanks Ulla we are waiting for our friend to get over an accident he had tripping over his dog to come and do it again for us, soon. Glad you liked the joke. Best picture I could find to go with it.

You'd think the painter would have known how much is too much thinner. I do hope that it finally got done right and it turned out good. You did a great job and I see no errors

Thanks, thought Louise painting my panel was the best to go with this. It needs doing again, now, hehe.

Hello Sankey,

Relevant or not, it's great to see her up and about, so to speak. She seems happy enough at what she is doing, and hopefully the preacher won't come complaining about thinners!

I'm glad to see your wife posed for the reinforcing picture. I enjoyed the tiny story and the wordplay in the title and the final line to intensify its theme. Still chortling- Joan

Thanks Joan. Learning from Sasha in Mexico to post more about anything. Appreciate the review. Best picture I could find with any relevance whatever, hehe.

Thanks Sis. Good hearing from you. Did I tell you we have a long time friend of mine, also bro in the Lord, with MS? It is so difficult seeing them these days with our change in mobility and all that.

Hi, Geoff. LOL. Instead of Stop sinning...he is told "Stop Thinning"

Okay, I get it, my friend. I see you used Louise to demonstrate, eh?

Nice to hear from you again. It's sure been a long time.

Stay healthy. Blessings, Bob

yeah Bob I thought I had a publisher oined up but alas not. Seems I may have t go "Self-Publish" We have been very busy with one thing and another will see more in my new Ramblings book in here soon. Thanks mate.

Now you know why I consider myself so lucky. I sent over 120 query letters out before I got my first bite. then zI got two. Hence I am no longer facing self-publishing. Don't give up, Geoff. :) Bob

Thanks for the idea. I saw an ad for Balboa publishing here on FS but I did not care for them due to some of their particular "bents" I get a bit nervous some might change my stuff for something I don't like. I know we are different on our views about dressing stuff up and all that. Maybe I might get into fiction more some day.

I like the play on words, making for a very cute read. There is very good imagery and descriptive scheme. There is always a hidden meaning when one wishes to seek it out.
