I think the answer is for people to wake up to themselves and treat others the way they would wish to be treated (where have I heard that before?) If the people responsible for this would like their children ripped from their arms, then by all means go right ahead and tear these families apart. Words fail me when I think the Bible has been used to justify these actions.
