I love it. I've never heard of an alouette before, and I will keep the requirements of this poetic form in my notes.

How fun! So nice of you to give your supportive words in verse to your grandson! Congratulations to him. From your notes, the reference to Dr. Seuss made sense. (You have a comma instead of a period for Dr. in the third line.)
