An 'AWESOME' presentation, Brigitte! Sorry I have no 'Six Stars', Sweetheart. This is one of the best 'Free Verse' poems I have read on FanStory, and the words slice off a chunk of my soul. It is plain that your faith is strong and unwavering. The artwork by Anne is spectacular. I am here for you if needed, beautiful. Best wishes for a contest win and God bless.
Respectfully with love,
Bill

I thank you for this supportive review of my writing. It has been a while since I have submitted anything and writing will provide the much needed release. Six stars really do not matter as long as my message is understood. God's master plan is at work in ways we will understand eventually. I am grateful for my blessings and my faith will keep me strong.
Love,
Brigitte

"I am a creature of God and there is hope" I like the simplicity and clarity of the words, crisp direct, to the point. In a world of chaos, keeping up your head is an art... thought only by God.

The news is full of dreadful things happening in the world and can sometimes be depressing, but it's always the bad things that make the headlines when there is so much good going on that goes unnoticed, love Dolly x

I totally agree. Good news is buried. God has a master plan of that I am sure. Faith is the cornerstone of life. Thank you for the read and review.

Yes, the daily news brings terrible news, almost unbearable to the Christian mind, school shootings, extreme left liberals wanting open borders which have allowed gangs like MS 13 into our borders, Yes Satan is at work but so is the anti-Christ. But remember that Jesus said not to worry about the one that can destroy the body but to worry about the one that can destroy the soul. God bless. Have a great weekend.

True that Good news is buried, I know that for a fact being that I am a journalist. Good news doesn't sell.

In my opinion, an artful rendering of Faith, a hopeful prayer in lyric free verse - well constructed in its dynamic presentation and stark imagery - fully compliant with the prompt. Best of luck in the contest...

Hi Brigitte, a strong free verse that exposes the failures in society and the horrors taking place in the world. You state clearly, your feelings and question whether God is testing us. Well written and I wish you good luck in the contest. Warm regards Dorothy x

"Who's Winning?" , is an extremely well-written and spiritually up-lifting piece. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. To me, this is a six, but unfortunately I only have fives left. You KEEP WRITING and I'll KEEP READING. I look forward to seeing your next post.

I love the strength and determination in your words. Clearly your faith is strong and unwavering. Satan can never win just as long as we are willing to keep our faith in God and carry on in the face of diversity. Thanks for this inspirational poem.

Excellent entry for the faith poem contest. It's a different format from most poetry. I like how you lay out the negative elements in capital letters. The last two lines pull the faith aspect together. " Satan be damned" is a great line here. And the poem ends on the word "hope". Very nice.

Yes, Brigitte, with God all things are possible. I agree with your summation of the negativism of the news that bombards us daily. Where are the positive things? Well, they don't draw in the ratings, I believe. You did a good job with the formatting of your lines. Thanks for sharing. Jan

Thank you for the read and supportive comments. Good news is hidden on the back pages and that should not be. In faith, there is my hope. God has a master plan and a GPS does not give directions. ( aside, how is Bill?)
Blessings,
Brigitte
