This nonet, How Quickly Politicians Forget, matches the nine to one format and explains politicians to the tee. That's why the US got a Trump. He's not a politician. He is also not a reader, not very knowledgeable of foreign affairs, thinks it's 1970, and can't seem to tell the truth.

You hit the nail right on the head! I have never understood how politicians can conveniently forget what they said - everything they say is videotaped for prosperity! Congratulations and good luck in the contest.

I think this is a good entry for the Nonet Poem writing prompt.
Your short verse describes politicians very clearly.
