Huh. I wasn't sure so looked up the Lune form...it's an easy form to write...just tough to get the precise words to create an impact with the reader. I think you did a great job. Of course anything written about the ocean is a winner to me!

This lune, The Day Be Blessed, has the correct 5-3-5 set up and welcomes another day on Earth. I question the use of the cliche 'full bloom', as it indicates flowers that are not referenced in the piece. I know it sounds trite and picky, but in a short poem, the words are even more important than ever. There must be something that grabs us about the new day beyond this handy phrase. Just thinking out loud on a Saturday morning. Happy day.
