Hi Teri,
A lovely light hearted story and a delight to read.
The 'pecking' order can definitely ruffle some feathers. Lol.
Ok! I realise they are cats but the principle is the same.
Peace and harmony should always reign supreme.
Blessings
Shirley

It is certainly an original take on the dialogue contest format....cute to imagine kittens chit chatting about the goings on in their house! I like the FBAC....made me chuckle!

Wow!
This was a great story and I read it to my great grand daughter and she loved it.
And that means this was a winner this is how I find out if my story or poems on the light side are good.
Thank you for sharking

The idea of two cats kneeling down to pray put a smile on my face this morning. lol

that daddy let's in the house - lets on this occasion.

cat that daddy let's in the house / as if Daddy loves her - it's probably best to present Daddy the same way each time.

Hi Teri. This is a great entry for the contest. I had a cat once whom I named Cat. Then she had kittens and she became Mama Cat. She gave me the best cat I ever had, her daughter, Pearl. I enjoyed your story very much.

"I have learned in my short life thus far it's better not to start trouble if you don't "

I would suggest putting the word that between far and it's because there needs to be a pause before it's.

"I have learned in my short life thus far that it's better not to start trouble if you don't "

Good luck in the contest. Thank you for sharing

Let's go play with out cat nip and toys for a while!" - with ou(r)

Great dialogue and a fun little story. The truth is, animals sure do get jealous of each other and the affection they receive. Best wishes in the contest, friend.

A very sweet story, Teri! It's so nice that you take care of homeless cats, too. Glad that Muffy and Fluffy are so willing to follow your prayerful example.

A couple of comments:
"that daddy let's in the house " (lets)
" Let's go play with out cat nip" (our catnip)

Teri,
This is sooo cute. Love it. The conversation flows well & makes sense. What a sweet lesson Fluffy & Muffy learned after learning/praying. Great lesson for all! We are all created by God.

I had 1 dog growing up named Muffin--Muffy for short. Great name.

Thanks for sharing. Best wishes dear friend. Jan

You did a great job of getting all this story out using only spoken words, Teri. It's a fun tale, and knowing how cats behave, I can well imagine it. They do get quite jealous and possessive of their human servants! Well done, and best of luck in the contest.
