"This is how", is short, succinct and very much to the point. Each short line is woven with the golden threads of truth This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. To me, this is certainly a six. Unfortunately I only have fives left.

I do so agree, Kahpot. Looking at our world today and all of its problems, not the least of which concerns Global Warming, makes one pause to think about our future.

Your poem really hits home and you and I can't be the only ones that fear what is in store for us in the future. We ask, "What happened to the dinosaurs who became extinct millions of years ago"? We don't ask, "How did they survive for millions of years"?

I interpreted your poem in another way: the example of Hawaii -- the earth is changing without our collaboration. We are powerless over what is happening with the volcano there. This is a good poem. If there can be more than one interpretation, that is art.

A good entry into the contest.I wish the six words would convey everything that your author notes convey to the reader. It is good for six words but to me another word besides collaboration would maybe , just maybe convey better. Good luck in the contest.

I hope we never get to that point! But, the way the world is now, it might be sooner than later. Collaboration is a word that many leaders world wide don't truly understand the meaning behind it.

Great short work. It is often difficult to create a piece that is intense with so few words, but you managed it here quite well. It would have even stood alone without the photo, but the pic is great to go with it. Good luck. Nicely done!
