What an interesting word Craig. Thanks for the notes, the cute video, & the straightforward 575.

Great picture.

This would be an interesting word to hear in conversation, but I will just say over the snow-capped mountains unless it comes up on Jeopardy.. Good job & thanks for sharing. Jan

    Is Jeopardy still going? Next you'll tell me Pick-a-Box is still running! Many thanks Jan :) Craig

    Yes, Jeopardy is still going strong. Never heard of Pick-a-Box must be regional.

What a wonderful complete presentation--even the epigraph. I'm loving this book of yours, which inspired you to write these phenomenal pieces. ha ha! "The bear was correct."

Hello, Craig;

I think this is a very interesting word. Living in the Pacific Northwest, we actually have snow-capped mountains. Some of them are even snow-capped year round, so this is a good word to remember. I will put it in my 'book of words.' I'm collecting the ones you share along with lynechoka -- as well as the new ones I get from Merriam Webster. Someday, I will be a wordsmith.

    Hi Patty - we have snow-capped mountains where I am, generally one or two days a year. But that's one or two days more than almost anyone in this country can say. Just remember, no fair coming back in a year's time and testing me with those words, OK? :)

    Hmmm. I would test you and it would be open-book,
