This 1-6-1, Spread Your Wings, follows the format and reminds us that we all have a goal. Remembering what it is, and keeping the motivation high is key to success.

Very good use of the rules for this poem! So much was said in 8 little words!
Well done and the picture you added was perfect!! Keep up your writing and fly.

What a sweet picture you have chosen. This makes me think of the poem by Langston Hughes, Hold Fast to Dreams. The reader needs to heed your cautionary tale here which is delivered in soft tones. But we know it carries great weight. There's also two songs I'm reminded of with the words "spread your wing and fly" also " I can spread my wings and fly." Your poem is universal, anyone can relate to it. Well written.

Thank you. I know its a message that's been done before, it's just very relatable to what's going on in my life now. :)

All writing is archetypal, nothing any of us write is new. We only write what needs to be written at the moment
I did a meditation dialogue with Jim Croce...I saw him a prophet
Me: Why did you have to die so young-you can't tell me you had nothing else to say or share with us?
Jim: I had said it all-It was said over two thousand years ago in a man's life and complete self-emptying. There's no more to say, only new ways of saying it. And that is up to you. So love life-love people-love the present moment and try to show people how special and how lovable they are.
