Give me games that require skill--like chess. Now those I like!

I play chess too. I feel the way you do. A game of skill any time. I was a card counter on a blackjack team. On that trip I did not have enough of a stake. I think we have talked about chess before. Your FIDE was slightly higher than mine was at 2130. Thank you for your delightful review and five star rating

Was 37 dollars enough to get you home? I couldn't sleep either if that happened to me. It's so easy to lose at the casino, I've done it many times. I won once though...500. It was so unreal I thought they made a mistake : ) Thanks and have a great holiday weekend.

This was in around 1974. Things are quintupled in price since them. 37 would be at least $185 in today?s money. Thank you Boogienights for your wonderful review and excellent rating

Wow! I can't believe that really happened to you!! That is scary -- The brevity of the poem, and it's stark, bare-bone base of the poem is very effective -- kinda of what you would probably talk like if this had just happened... in shock.. afraid.. interesting story and poem.. good job!

Those Casinos will do it to you, that is for sure. They are so (in)conveniently close now in so many areas, towns, cities and whatever and hard to resist sometimes...resulting in failed relationships and bankruptcy and whatever. Where I live the closest one is 12 miles then there are 5 or 6 more in easy driving distance. All I can say is a really fine write and I am so happy I haven't driven in many a long year...Dinah

I never had a gambling issue. I went with less than I came home with. Just planned vacations and could have hitched home. Thank you Dorothy for your wonderful review and excellent rating
