This is a great 5-7-5 poem. You are fluid, concise, and your picture and words all flow together nicely... the tree is absolutely gorgeous... I wonder how old it is... anyway... , this is a terse, compact and meaningful poem... good job!

I love trees so this poem was definitely for me. Not only are they beautiful, they provide us a place to sit in the shade and relax, as well as help to substain the environment. What a barren wasteland it would be with out them. Great choice of subject matter for this nicely written 5-7-5. Best luck in the contest.

What a delicious poem! It immediately takes me back to a sweet summer memory when just a teenager, (very long ago) and how wonderful it feels to be as cool as the shade beneath the leafy tree, and as hot as the summer sun, all at the same time. What a neat poem, so warm and sweet and descriptive and stirring and well, short. I liked it immensely. MM
