When the painter dies, his work increase in value. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. There is very good imagery.

It's hard to know what will happen to a work of art. Sometimes the value of a painting goes up after the artist has died. Maybe that's the case with Herman Gordijn. Maybe this person you know can help you get it back. To me, you get a little off track when you begin talking about your late husband and your feelings about him selling the painting (last stanza.) judi
