This poem has great imagery. For those who have had this exhilarating experience, will identify, those who sadly have never, are invited to experience the filling of their senses through your poem. I like the onomatopoeia using s's and sh. Well done.

Hi, Beck

You have hit on one of life's greatest experiences. I always marvel when meeting people who have never been to the ocean. There are so many states that are land-locked, I forget its only when you live on the coasts that you have the wonderful experience of smelling the salt of the ocean.

Your poem captured the essence of walking from the parking area towards the beach,
