What a very idyllic and descriptive poem. The words and the picture blend together and present a beautiful peaceful image. Your poem invites the reader to wander and stay a moment in this peaceful setting.

I must find the closest thing I can here in Texas to achieve such a moment.

Thank you for sharing this idyllic scene and lovely words within a five-seven-five poem. Your mention of 'geometric shapes,' reminded me of the view from an airplane as you are about to land. Oregon looks like that in the spring and fall.

Thanks, Jen. I get drawn to these country views, as I was raised in England. I left at 20 years old, but there?s something special about the countryside there for me. Memories, ah memories!
