KT I can empathize . I have sent my stories to agent after agent to suffer rejection after rejection. Good thing I keep looking at it as a way to improve rather than a chance for self loathing

It is so hard to tell what will happen in these contests around here. The site-sponsored tests leave the writers with absolutely no clue about how many entries there were OR what the judges are looking at, or for, for that matter.
Never doubt yourself, and do NOT allow this site to diminish your self-esteem.
It simply isn't worth it,

See what happens when I go outside and garden? Digging in that dirt is incredibly cathartic and inspiring!
Nothing will ever diminish my love of writing, and self-contemplation is good for the soul.
