DEFINITELY a creative piece Pam with a quite mystic flavor to it. As a matter of fact I really didnt quite get it until Iread the caption at the bottom. I guessits too early in the morning for me. But it hs its rhythm and rhyme as usual. But this room of doom is one we all dread. Every walk of life does. I guess the space ship is what threw me off. Lol

This is an extremely creative and interesting poem -- leading the reader to think all along, that the older couple, is just some ordinary couple, but from THIS planet... not some other world... your twist completely took me by surprise, and I like to be surprised, because I am very good at anticipating and intuiting endings.. real or imagined.... thanks for the share, it is worth of a six-er, but have none to share... :( but just know, you are deserving of one...

That is what most people would consider home. I king of left it open for the reader. Wherever we go it will be an alien world. Hehe

I don't know if you're into King or not, but it's a damn good book.
